SERVICES PROVIDED FOR STEREO/STEREO ZOOM

MICROSCOPES

(Per ACC Proprietary Procedure # NPWI-SZSETUP, NPWI-SZOPEV and #NPWI-OPTCLN)

·         Perform routine setup per written ACC procedures

·         Check parfocality and adjust for perfect focus from high magnification to low magnification.

·         Reset diopter rings to indicate parfocal setting correct at zero mark.

·         Includes check for equal magnification between left and right optical paths;  adjust if necessary.

·         Full cleaning of exterior, stand, and lighting equipment according to Procedure #NPWI-OPTCLN.

·         Includes eyepieces and binocular prism/mirror assemblies.

·         Includes objective lenses and final multiplier lens clean and check; lubricate lens threads.

·         Clean, then lubricate wear surfaces on all mechanical assemblies as required.  Make note of any excessively worn or out of adjustment assemblies and demonstrate to customer.

·         Furnish written report of any problems found and make specific recommendations as to any part that needs replacing and any action needed to increase machine productivity or maintain accuracy.

·         Adjust focus rack and pinion - lubricate gears and ways as needed.

·         Adjust lighting for maximum efficiency and best image clarity.

·         Check hardware for loose items - tighten as needed.

·         Seal all non-user adjustable hardware with enamel paint.

·         Calibrate eyepiece  reticle with a NIST traceable glass master per ACC proprietary procedure # MP-SZCAL.

·         All calibrations conform to ANSI/NCSI Z540-1-1994 and meets ISO 9002 requirements.

·         Furnish Certificate of Accuracy (Before/After data available).

·         ACC glass master stage micrometers calibrated traceable to NIST to .00001” (10 micro inches)

·         Check for proper convergence of stereo image.

·         (Adjustments for minor convergence problems are included; however, sometimes they may require a full service LASER realignment.  Typically, the users will have reason to complain  about the image if the scope is found in this condition.)  Major LASER realignments are performed at ACC’s facility in a timely fashion at a rate of  $ 125.00 or 
$ 175.00 depending on parts needed and condition of the optics.
