SERVICES PROVIDED FOR COMPOUND, SPECIALTY

AND METALLURGICAL MICROSCOPES

Per ACC Proprietary Procedure # MP-FFCAL and # NPWI-OPTCLN

·        Perform full evaluation of equipment.

·        Full cleaning of exterior surfaces.

·         Clean all optical elements including eyepieces, beam split mirror, objectives and final magnification lens.

·        Check stage operation.

·        Lubricate all applicable areas using synthetic lube.

·         Check operation of objective turret.  Make minor adjustments if necessary.

·        Check all mechanical hardware for looseness - tighten as needed.

·        Clean and adjust illumination for maximum output and best image clarity.

·        Clean, center, focus and adjust photo and/or video attachments.

·        Perform minor mechanical adjustments to optimize system.

·        Calibrate all objectives to installed reticle or video measurement system as applicable.

·        Furnish Certificate of Accuracy with Before/After data.

·        If necessary, furnish written report detailing additional problems found.  Note any action needed to increase system productivity.  Note estimated costs regarding needed actions (if available).

·        ACC glass master stage micrometer calibrated traceable to NIST to .00001” 

 (10 microinches)

·        ACC steel and ceramic master gage blocks calibrated  traceable to NIST to .000002”(2 microinches)

·        All calibrations conform to ANSI/NCSL Z540-1 and meet ISO requirements.
