PROVIDED FOR DYNASCOPE INSTRUMENTS
Per ACC Proprietary Procedure #MP-DYNCAL and
#NPWI-OPTCLN
·
Perform
diagnosis per procedure #SZ-DGS-001.
·
Full
cleaning of exterior, stand and lighting equipment.
·
Adjust
lamp connectors; substage and epi lighting for best image clarity and
brightness.
·
Check
bulb sockets for signs of arcing of burnt wiring.
·
Adjust
fiber-optic lighting.
·
Clean
surfaces of all field lenses.
·
Clean
rear viewing mirror and projection mirror.
·
Clean
reticle and X10 lenses.
· Check for motor/disk vibration at highest magnification.
· Check Filar unit for dirt and ensure smooth operation.
·
(Evaluate,
clean; if necessary perform repairs or refurbish at customer request.)
·
Check
turret; tighten if necessary.
·
Check
photo options; center and focus.
·
Check
stage operation; tighten hardware as needed.
·
Check
scanning table; perspex tightness (rollers); check force required to move
platen.
·
Lubricate
mechanical wear surfaces.
·
Filar
micrometer calibration verification using ACC masters.
·
Calibrate
tube length with NIST standards for field of view filar measurements, such as on
the 4 and 5 Series Dynascopes.
·
Calibrate
stage linear accuracy and repeatability using ACC masters.
·
Furnish
Certificate of Accuracy when applicable. (Before/After
data available.)
·
Furnish
written report of any problems found and make specific recommendations as to any
part that needs replacing and any action needed to increase machine productivity
or maintain accuracy.
·
ACC glass
master stage micrometers calibrated traceable to NIST to .00001”(10
microinches)
·
ACC steel
and ceramic master gage blocks calibrated traceable to NIST to .000002” (10
microinches)
·
Seal all
non-user adjustable hardware with enamel.
·
All
Calibrations conform to ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994 and meets ISO requirements.
